Drell Nichols (Swagga) is a Chicago born artist/songwriter with over 10 years in the game. He was raised on classic R&B, Disco, and 80’s Pop music, which constructed his well rounded perspective with music. Despite facing the hurdles that life throws at all of us from time to time, he managed to persevere, and converted his artistry into the epitome of his struggle. His resume includes live performances, studio recording, and developing independent artists with similar visions. His song catalog is over one hundred songs which are copywritten through the Library of Congress, and is the head of his own indie label Barz "R" Us Ent, which is home to other artists and songwriters. His overall goal is to obtain distribution and exposure from a company which would help stabilize what he has built with Barz R Us. Swagga’s appearances include air-play on multiple Chicago area radio stations, including www.ChicagoCrook.com several collaborations with Juke legend Dj Slugo, Dj V Dub’s mixtape “Laws & Policies”, Chicago Cable TV show UGTV, and a lyrical style and voice that is completely unique.
